The IECMH Institute strengthens the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health-informed multi-sector perinatal to six workforce through a shared Competency Framework, international professional Endorsement credential, reflective practice, and quality infrastructure across states and countries.
Our Mission
IECMH International Institute Mission: The IECMH International Institute stewards and advances shared national and international infrastructure for the infant and early childhood mental health workforce. The Institute supports AIMHs and partners through shared standards, reciprocity, data, technology, quality assurance, learning, and resources—strengthening local capacity while honoring the leadership, relationships, and unique contexts of each community.
